Change Is Inevitable – Welcome The Change
Life is the result of a series of changes from birth to death. Be it physical, emotional, career or relationship. Change is inevitable and is synonymous with life and growth.
The life we lead today is the result of the acceptance of change by nomadic peoples. They set before us an example that if we want to survive, we need to accept the change. So don’t resist it, resistance only causes pain.
And although change is inevitable, you can only change yourself and not the whole world. So let things move in a realistic flow that comes naturally for yourself, and for others.
Why we Resist Change?
Nobody wants to leave the comfort to which we have become so accustomed. We fear risk or changing our situations because:
- We get extremely comfortable in the current situation
- We are scared of failing
- We are scared of uncertainty in the leap to a new future
- We get trapped between ‘may be’ or ‘may not be’
For example when we get an offer from a good company, we may feel hesitant about accepting it. We contemplate all the various options going around in our mind. Our mind gets bombarded with so many things that prevent us from accepting change.
- We are uncertain about the organization and people associated with it,
- We get scared of making a wrong decision and falling flat on our face,
- We feel uncomfortable about shifting into a new system and adjusting to it.
- Torn between the two, many times, we reject the opportunity and forget the mantra ‘change can be good and refreshing’. Change is inevitable and also helps us to explore our unexplored talents and capabilities.
Change is inevitable – welcome the change
Instead of being rigid towards change make space for new opportunities. Welcome the new change wholeheartedly and create a healthy atmosphere by equalizing the two ends.
Go with the wind
To go with the wind is the easiest way of survival. The trees that bend down against the storm survive while those that try to stand erect get uprooted. You alone can’t change the whole world and if you will not adjust you will be left alone among the crowd. So change your viewpoint and enjoy the change.
There are things I can’t force. I must adjust it. There are times the greatest change needed is a change of my viewpoint ~ Denis Diderot (Tweet this)
Accept the inevitable
There are certain things which are beyond your control. Like you can’t challenge the changing climate, you just adjust yourself according to that. Apply the same rule to your life.
Never complain, fret or be angry if things are not moving according to your choice. Have patience and gradually you will get accustomed to the new change and pray, “God grant me the serenity to accept the things I can’t change, courage to change the things I can change, and wisdom to know the difference.” This will strengthen your inner power to accept the inevitable.
Conclusion: Change is Inevitable
Life, the universe and everything which we see with our eyes is changing constantly. Change is life and if you want to live and enjoy then accept the change. Remember you can’t move forward if you are not willing to accept change.
