Power of love

Love life

Love is a feeling—one of the strongest emotions. It touches one’s heart, soul and mind. Let us open our hearts and explore the power of love. So enjoy life, realizing the power of love.

Love cannot be confined to some specific terms or be described with some concrete definition. Love encompasses ever-increasing positive energy. It is a divine feeling that has no strings attached to it.

Unconditional Love

Love ought to be unconditional. If it is not, then it is not love but a passing feeling that would dissolve on its own. We all fall in love and the first love one feels is the love of one’s mother.

There is a story of a man who fell in love with a young woman. The woman asked him to bring her the heart of his mother and only then she would meet him. The man, upon hearing this demand actually killed his mother and took her heart out to give it to his beloved.

On his way, he jolted on a pot hole and the heart got thrown away. Immediately the heart cried not with its own pain but in the worry of the boy, “My child, are you hurt?” Such purity is there in motherly love. What is it that she would not do for her children?

Love Helps you Grow

Love does not believe in demanding but it feels joy in giving. It lends a helping hand to all those in need, misery or grief. To offer your shoulder to a crying soul is also an act of love.

If you are too much in love with your family or friends but indifferent to your neighbor then this kind of bond that you share with your loved ones is useless.

Love and Attachment

Love should ideally be not confused with attachment or the idea of possession. As the Gita teaches us, attachment leads to suffering, we must keep in mind that love does not mean possession.

Being Non-judgmental

In the words of Mother Teresa, “If you judge people, you have no time to love them.”

Love is life. So stop judging and finding faults in others. Criticizing others generates negative energy in and around you. Accepting the person or situation, the way it is by being non-judgmental and de-linking love from all expectations can even free one from all his Karmic cycles.

The strength of Love

Love provides us with enormous strength. Understanding and compassion are the healing powers of love. Love is in giving and must be creative.

When Falguni Devi, the wife of Dasrath Manjhi, a poor laborer in a village in India, died in need of medical help, her husband vowed to move the mountain that had brought that ill-fate to his wife. He single-handedly forged a road through the mountain in 22 years. This road shortened the distance between the hospital and his village from 75 km to 1 km.

Love is Life – The beauty of Love

God has poured the feeling of love in our hearts so that we can alleviate the pain and suffering around us. Love, politeness, sympathy, the spirit of caring and sharing are the keys to a peaceful world. Your soft and gentle words will help you touch people’s hearts and make space for you in their lives.

The beauty of love always comes from within. It seems that the appreciation of beauty is a form of love. This is not to say that love is never disconnected from beauty, and that beauty is never disconnected from love; yet, when a beautiful thing or event is appreciated, then there is some form of love involved.

Conclusion

Forgive those who have put you down. Once our heart is filled with the light of love, we will be enlightened enough to unlock the secret of a peaceful life and a peace-filled world. Let us embrace this magical light of love with open arms!!!
