Life Lessons Taught by Flowers

Life Lessons, Flowers

Legendary American artist Georgia O’Keeffe once said, “When you take a flower in your hand and really look at it, it’s your world for the moment.” Every flower is a soul blossoming in nature.  In that way, their life lessons are many. Neither us nor them can blossom without love and sunshine.

Flowers always attract us towards their beauty and nature. Flowers give us happiness and delight even if they are covered with sharp thorns. They impart a feeling of freshness and soften our hearts when we are sad and fatigued. They purify our surroundings and uplift our life when we are feeling blue. Life is flower of which love is the honey.

We always feel empowered by their energy and have forever remained awe-inspired by their beautiful, colorful hues. The curves of the petals and the perfect lines harmoniously inspire us to cultivate beauty in our life and our surroundings. To witness a flower blossoming, petal by petal, is a real wonder no artist or scientist can replicate.

Life is a flower, spreading happiness wherever one finds it!

Though fragile and delicate, flowers always manage to find a precious place in our hearts. Their gentle, pervading perfume leaves its influence on our everyday life. Flowers make us happy! The best thing in the world is to give happiness to other people.

When we are the reason for a smile on another’s face, we feel fulfilled.

To be a source of joy to others you have to first find happiness in your own heart, only then you can truly spread joy around you.

Treat everyone equally and with kindness!

A flower has many qualities we can learn from. It is frank, equal, generous and kind. Flowers bloom in all kinds of natural surroundings. A flower has an open life; it shares its beauty with everyone. It neither knows nor cares what caste or creed stands for, nor does it acknowledge the difference between rich and poor.

The beauty a flower holds is never hidden so that everyone can experience it, see it, feel it, relate to it and most importantly share it. It treats everyone equally and has no preferences. Everyone can enjoy its beauty and fragrance without any discrimination.

Love unconditionally!

Flowers are affectionate; they are sweet, so close to us and so loving. Their presence fills us with delight. If we have to wish or congratulate someone, the very first idea of a gift which pops up in our mind is a bunch of flowers. They make one of the best gifts we can give.

Moreover, we feel loved when someone gives us flowers as well. Life is a flower that never stops blooming and the significance of flower gifts are personal expressions of our feelings for each other. Flowers bring about positive changes in people’s moods.

If you’ve ever had a time in your life when you loved someone unconditionally, you surely felt excited and freed, not drained and weighed down. Why not practice unconditional love every single day, just like a flower does!

Despite the circumstances, a flower still blooms!

Flowers have been found to bloom through little cracks in the rocks on high mountains. Flowers are found growing through slight clefts in the buildings.

Yes, positive environment and proper nurturing accelerates the growth of the flowers, but the lack of it doesn’t stop the flowers from growing altogether. Life is a flower and neither can blossom without love and sunshine,

A Lotus blooms in dirty water but it is one of the purest flowers of all. So no matter how many ups and downs there are in life, be like a flower blooming to the maximum, spreading happiness and living life fully.

The Buddha once said, “If we could see the miracle of a single flower clearly, our whole life would change.” (Tweet this)

Conclusion – Life is a Flower

Flowers are the happiest things that we come across. Fragrances of flowers always spread in the direction of wind. So always count your garden by the flowers, never by the leaves that fall. Life is a flower, both of them exhibit the same qualities from which we can learn.
